Stream highlights, cut for Shorts.
Cactus Clips is a private publishing tool operated by Cactus Co. It finds the best moments in public Twitch broadcasts, turns them into captioned vertical videos, and posts them to Cactus Clips' own social media channels.
What the app does
- Finds highlight moments in public Twitch VODs using chat activity, audio levels, and viewer-made clips.
- Renders each moment as a 9:16 vertical video with burned-in captions.
- Writes a title and description for each clip.
- Uploads the finished clips to the operator's own YouTube channel, and reads back basic performance numbers (views, likes, comments) for those uploads.
Who uses it
Cactus Clips is not a public service and has no sign-up. The only Google account connected to it is the operator's own, used to publish to the operator's own channel. It does not access anyone else's account or data.
How it uses Google data
The app uses the YouTube Data API to upload videos to the operator's channel, set thumbnails, read statistics and comments on the videos it uploaded, and remove its own uploads that YouTube has blocked. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
